Hi, I'm Sam!
By day I work on embedded systems and flight software for spacecraft. By night I'm usually hacking on a web project, a robot, or whatever hardware I have lying around.
This site is a place for me to document the things I build and tinker with. Sometimes that's a polished project post, sometimes rough notes I'm keeping for myself that others might find useful.
A few things I'm into:
- Embedded systems & hardware - my day job, and also a hobby
- Self-hosting - I've been running my own home server rack since 2013
- Robotics & aviation - I build things that move and I like things that fly
- Plants/gardening - I keep a separate blog for that over at plants.samr.dev
